Started functioning in the academic year 1998 – 99‚ is the only women’ s college in Nashik affiliated to the University of Pune. It has acquired C++ grade under NAAC Accreditation in the 6th year of its establishment.. It is the fastest growing college in Nashik with its academic excellence and discipline. Besides the Arts and commerce courses of the university‚ the college runs various professional courses for enabling the girl’s student to secure jobs in the competitive and IT based environment under the banner of Center for Career Enhancement and Training (CCET). The College has secured permanent affiliation with the University of Pune in the year 2008– 09 and also got recognition for the post– graduation course in Commerce (M.Com.) With able and visionary‚ guidance of the office bearers of the Nashik Shikshan Prasarak Mandal‚ its hard working the committed staff and needy students‚ College is making mark in every sphere of academic and extra-curricular aspects of all the stake holders.

Activities of College

Features one of the inherent qualities of this college is its vision and efforts for the students’ and social welfare. Right from the inscription the college has introduced and implemented such schemes. Here is a bird’s eye view of major schemes.

Annapurna Yojana

This is a unique scheme of a great social and moral value started in year 2007– 08. The college collects lunch boxes from its students and staff members. This food then is provided to the needy patients and their relatives in the Municipal Corporation run Bytco Hospital at Nashik Road.

Counselling Centre

The college provides the students‚ parents of the students and the community with counseling by experts on legal‚ health‚ domestic etc. issues. These sessions are held every fourth Saturday of each month.

Sanjiwani Blood-Donor Data Bank

This scheme was launched in 2008– 09 with the purpose to make provide the Social and Governmental organizations with easy access to the ready-made list of blood donors in and around Nashik Road. 90 people have been enlisted till date.

Competitive Examination Centre for the Students of Weaker Section

To encourage and assist the students of the weaker sections to prepare for the competitive examinations like MPSC‚ UPSC the college started this centre in 2009-10. A separate library is functional in this centre. Lectures are organized two days every week.

Schemes in collaboration with the Mitra Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha

The college‚ in collaboration with Mitra Bahuddeshiya Sevabhavi Sanstha‚ an NGO registered with the Government of Maharashtra‚ started many schemes. These include SAVITRI Scholarship for the needy and ambitious students‚ CYCLE– RECYCLE Scheme for the students of weaker sections who live 3 kilometer away from the college‚ BOOK DISCOUNT Scheme‚ in which the students are given textbooks‚ reference books and dictionaries with 50% discount‚ BOOK ASSISTANCE for the Competitive Examination Centre. Besides‚ a Hemoglobin check up camp has been held for female parents and students.
